Hi guys Željko Babić here!
My beginnings are related to painting works. My father was a top craftsman, so with him I learned the secrets of the painting and decorating job very early on.
In 1995, I founded a company for finishing works, which in the following 15 years constantly
developed and grew, employed over 100 employees. During that period, we worked on eminent buildings, residential buildings, luxury villas, restaurants and hotels of the highest category.
I started dealing with the courses by first training my employees. Then I occasionally did presentations and training for the needs of various producers of decorative materials such as Cassati, Candis, Oikos...
We used the highest quality materials from most European, but primarily Italian premium brands, so I was able to try out different possibilities and create personal creations in wall decorations. That's how I got to know the Venetian plasterers and that determined my further development...
I was researching how to achieve the most faithful imitation of stone, rock, rust, marble... The painting brush had already served me well, it was only necessary to choose the right materials and practice...
If you look at my works, you can see calm, clean lines, a lot of symmetry, order, neat expressions.
I prefer traditional, classic elegance over all other styles. That's why my first choice is natural materials based on lime, gypsum… So… marble stone, and stone in general are my favourite forms...
Over the past ten years I have developed a special business and friendship relationship with maestro Giani Polisterna and his company Stucco Italiano, and
I became their official instructor for decorative techniques, especially for Venetian plastering…
So far I have decorated walls in
Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Qatar, Morocco, Turkey, Slovakia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bulgaria... and many more…
